Hahaha, Lollll, Lmao, Rofl

The one feeling that I will never regret in life is experiencing a genuine moment of happiness. I may regret many things in my life, both great and small, but being happy is not one of them.

There is so much negativity in the world today that to be able to laugh wholeheartedly amidst it all feels so freeing. I'm talking about those moments when you lose every ounce of inhibition and self-consciousness to let out roaring, belly-filled laughs. Laughter can cure a wealth of emotional and physical pain. Not only do your tense muscles relax and your worrisome thoughts momentarily escape you, but those feel-good endorphins shower you with positivity from the inside out.

As serious as life may be, indulge in a little humor from time to time. I've included some below to help you get started. (For more laughs, visit my "Just for Laughs" board on Pinterest)

When you text them an essay and they reply with "K"...
So true and annoying!

Love is in the air...

There is nothing like that void that can overcome a person when they are not in a relationship on Valentine's Day. A few people fill it with sorrow and self pity, while others choose to mask their disappointment by burying their feelings in denial. I was personally guilty of a mixture of these, until I finally figured something out. My happiness does not depend on someone else. I do not have to let another human being have power over the way I feel, that is completely up to me. It is my responsibility to choose the way I react to each individual situation, my love life included.

The quickest way to falling right back down that unstable roller coaster of emotion is by letting someone else affect your state of mind. You deserve happiness, yes, YOU! There is nothing stopping you from attaining that pure state of joy other than yourself. If you find yourself in a situation which limits that innate freedom, do something about it. Don't just wallow in depressing feelings and wish for it, be proactive and make it happen.

The best piece of advice that I can share is to learn to truly love and respect yourself first before you allow anyone else to. Chase your passions and take pride in what you do, the rest will follow abundantly. With that said, Happy "Love Yourself" Day ☺

Just go for it!

Don't be blah. You are instinctively unique and are meant for something special. Find your beautiful purpose, whatever it may be, and fulfill it with a passion. Seek the type of passion that makes you jump out of bed every morning just to race the sun and get the day going.

Understand that both people and circumstances will try to trip and defeat you along the way. Don't mind them, keep going. Don't let them label you, critique you and impede your journey towards something amazing. Ask yourself this...what is the one thing that could keep you going every single day with a smile as wide as the sky? Whatever that may be, follow it! Pursue it with an open heart and driven soul.

Feed your inner potential and aim for a life that truly makes a difference.
